Did you have a COVID project? Or did you work with students? Amanda did both. For most of her professional life, she has presented on financial aid, FAFSAs, scholarships, etc. So while stuck at home (and very pregnant) she decided to expand on a chapter she'd written for a book called "College Admission Essentials" by writing a comprehensive but totally free online guide: one that organized what she knew about paying for college responsibly into student-(and parent!)-friendly bite-sized pieces. Then she got a friend to publish it on his (kind of famous) college access website. Thus "Paying for College in Four Steps" is now a free resource that has already been kindly reviewed by financial aid expert peers and--more importantly--used by students and parents. Now back for an encore performance at FreshTake, Amanda is ready share this resource, as well as get anyone who cares to listen up to speed with what's happening in the world of financial aid and, as always, answer all possible questions about paying for college.
